Launching Torq Into Hypergrowth
I began working with Torq at the start of 2023. With very little brand recognition to speak of, the CMO wanted to standout in the crowded field of cybersecurity. I built a new brand and website in tandem while using standout content to drive brand recognition. Working on an aggressive timeline, I readied Torq to stand out to CISOs, produce industry buzz and support sales team efforts.
Torq was just named a top 10 cybersecurity brand to watch at BlackHat, which coincided with the launch of their new AI, Socrates. This shift in Torq’s brand led to a Series B funding of $42 million. Subsequent to the Series B extension, Torq secured a $70M Series C in September 2024 and a $140M Series D in January 2026, reaching a $1.2B valuation.
